 Playing the Game:

The game is easy to play. All you have to do is select who you will think will win, using the point spread, for all the games listed for each week. If you don't pick them all, the games you fail to pick will not score a point for you so odds are you won't win. You have up to one hour before the first scheduled game of the week to make your picks. You can also change your picks up until one hour before the first scheduled game. Simply log back in using your user ID and Password. Your picks and tiebreakers will be displayed and you can change them all if you desire. Once the deadline is passed you will not be able to change the current week. You can still make your picks for future weeks.

One thing unique about SportsFeeds Pickem is we use a point spread that has been compiled from all the official betting lines on each game. When deciding who will win a game, you have to add the indicated point spread to the underdogs score. With the spread added, the favorite must beat the underdogs adjusted score to win the game in our pickem contest. If you pick the underdog and the favorite does NOT beat this adjusted score you get a point. If you pick the favorite and the favorite beats the underdogs adjusted score you get a point. If the game score with the point spread added ends in a tie, no one gets a point.

On any given week there normally will be more than one person who picks all the games correctly. In order to end up with one winner we use two tiebreakers. Two of the games have been selected from the list of the games for the week being played. Simply total up what you think the losers and winners scores will be (combined score) and enter it in the space provided. The difference between the total score you pick and the actual game score will be subtracted from your point total if you are tied with another contestant. If you have picked the correct score for the tiebreaker, no points are subtracted. The player with the most points wins the game. If there are still two or more players with identical scores after the first tiebreaker, the second tiebreaker will be used. If there is still more than one winner after the second tiebreaker, the prize will be divided into equal shares.
